TMHF’s Gala raises over $360,000 net for Trenton Memorial Hospital ER Expansion

Trenton, ON, October 23, 2024 –The Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation is thrilled to announce that its 2024 Saturday Night Fever Gala presented by Scotiabank, held on October 19 at the Batawa Community Center, was an overwhelming success. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, the event raised $360,184.96 net in support of the hospital’s Emergency Room expansion project.

Gala Chairs Tina Furmidge, TMHF Past-Chair, and Michelle MacKay, TMHF Director, added, “We are thankful for the generosity of this community. Without you, we would not have raised $360,000. Thank you to the Gala committee for their time and talent. This team made it happen.”

The sold-out event brought together local businesses, sponsors and community members to support Trenton Memorial Hospital. It was a night filled with fun, all while giving back. A special choreographed dance by Stacey Daub and Mark Phillips, taught by Miss Tawny, was a highlight of the evening, along with a delicious dinner catered by Kaleidoscope Catering. The live auction, headed up by Boyd Sullivan, added to the excitement, and the evening’s MC, Paul Ferguson, kept the energy high. One lucky guest also walked away with a stunning diamond pendant from our Karots and Kisses raffle, generously donated by Steve Marshman Jewelers.

We also extend our deepest thanks to the community for their incredible support of our online auction, which ran alongside the event. Your generosity made a significant difference!
