Trenton, ON – August 15, 2023: The John Smylie Memorial Golf Classic, an annual charity golf tournament of Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation, held at Oak Hills Golf Club, concluded with resounding success, raising $103,193.49 to benefit the urology department at Trenton Memorial Hospital.

The event, held on August 11, 2023, was made possible through the generous contributions of sponsors, volunteers, golfers, and community members who rallied together to support a worthy cause. The title sponsor, Pioneer Patient Transfer, played a pivotal role in ensuring the success of the tournament. The foundation is also thankful to Oak Hills Golf Course for hosting and making The John Smylie Memorial Golf Classic a resounding success.

A total of 58 teams, participated in the tournament, lending an air of camaraderie and spirited competition to the event. The winning teams of The John Smylie Memorial Golf Classic are Wilkinson & Company LLP for the Glen course and Williams Hotels for the Highland course. Alongside the golf action, participants engaged in various contests, including the exciting 50/50 draw, with the winning number 8937907.
