Grant Awards & Funding Partners

The Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation has proudly secured another generous grant from the Brian Todd Memorial Community Fund (BTMCF), continuing an impressive streak since 2014. This year, the $5,000 grant is earmarked specifically for the hospital’s Ophthalmology Department, reflecting the Foundation’s focus on acquiring advanced equipment for cataract surgery.

The Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation (TMHF) is thankful for a generous $5,000 grant from the Florence Nightingale Home Foundation. These funds will be used to purchase a new transport stretcher for Trenton Memorial Hospital (TMH).
This vital piece of equipment is essential for safely and comfortably transferring patients within the hospital. The new stretcher will ensure continued high-quality care for TMH patients.

The Community Foundation for Kingston & Area awarded a $10,000 grant to Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation (TMHF) for its “Stop the Bleed” project. This grant will help purchase a $14,144 tourniquet for Trenton Memorial Hospital, enhancing surgical safety. Established in 2022, the Stark Family Fund has granted $1.22 million to community initiatives. The “Stop the Bleed” project will benefit nearly 1,000 people directly and 2,000 indirectly. TMH is the sole provider of certain medical services in the Quinte Health region.

The Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation (TMHF) extends a heartfelt thank you to Boeing Canada, represented by David Evans, for its generous donation towards the hospital.

The Red Cross Community Services Recovery Fund Grant was instrumental in developing a volunteer recruitment and management plan tailored for post-pandemic recovery. This project successfully re-engaged our volunteer base through the use of tools like an online volunteer management portal. We introduced a welcome package, skills and availability checklists, and a recognition program to honor our volunteers’ dedication. We are sincerely grateful to the Red Cross for this essential grant, which greatly assisted us in adapting and strengthening our community service capabilities in the aftermath of the pandemic.

We were pleased to receive generous support from the Rotary Club of Trenton, which enabled Trenton Memorial Hospital to acquire essential medical equipment to enhance our ability to serve our community. This grant demonstrated the Rotary Club’s ongoing commitment to improving healthcare services in our region and has directly impacted patient care outcomes. The new equipment has enabled our medical team to provide more efficient and effective treatment to those who need it most.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Rotary Club of Trenton for their continued support and partnership.
