“If this gift we are making can in any way have a positive effect on the Trenton Memorial Hospital for future generations to benefit from quality healthcare, in the way that we have, then we feel that our existence will have been a more positive and purposeful one. I believe that our physicians play a very important function, and I see this endowment as an opportunity to encourage new physicians to our hospital as well as to stay here. If our legacy helps to achieve this then I feel that we will have given something back. After all legacies keep on living even when we don’t.”

APPLICATION CRITERIA
September 1, 2026 – June 30, 2026
- Applicants must be an Active or Associate Physician or Nurse at Quinte Health, Trenton Memorial Hospital.
- Applications must be made annually for multi-year programs.
- Applications should only be completed when funding is not available from other sources within Quinte Health or your professional association or nursing organization.
- The application must be fully completed and supporting documentation attached to be considered.
- Only the cost of the Course/Registration and Course Materials will be considered for funding. Consideration for 100% will be available depending upon the number of applications received and funding available.
- Please submit your course description/outline/brochure with this application, including verification of estimated costs.
- Deadline for Applications: June 1st and December 1st. Late applications will be considered only if funding is still available.
- If the application is accepted and the course is not completed, full reimbursement of funds is required.
- Applications must be submitted to the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation.
