TMHF Celebrating Caribbean Nights Gala

Quinte West, ON: Warm breezes off the water, the scent of tropical flowers, romantic music and drinks with paper umbrellas in them conjure up an evening to be remembered. The Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation presents “Caribbean Nights” on Saturday, October 20, 2018 for our annual fundraising event.

Featuring fabulous steel drum band and vocalist, Caribbean cuisine by Occasions by the Bay, vibrant colours of the islands and Jamaican rum punch, this year’s gala will be alive with the excitement of the Caribbean life. As the regions’ premier black tie event, the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation gala raises much-needed funds for major medical equipment required for Trenton Memorial Hospital. This year, the focus is a new CT scanner costing $1.4 million to replace the 12-year-old one currently in use, thus, providing patients with the latest, most advanced diagnostic equipment.

“One of our most dedicated supporters has been encouraging the committee to do a Caribbean theme for several years, so with his help and guidance we decided now was the time” says gala co-chair Jennifer Rainbird. ” We want our guests to have a fun, elegant evening filled with dancing, maybe even limbo, and energy”. Co-chair Lynn Lake says, “The silent and live auction will be filled with items of exceptional quality and variety – something for everybody – including a week of luxury at a Jamaican resort with airfare for two, a trip to Disneyworld for a family at March break 2019, hockey packages and so much more. The latest electronics, getaways, home decor are just some of the exceptional items to entice bidders.”

Sponsorships and donations are the key to the success and future of Trenton Memorial Hospital. If interested in showing your support please contact Laura-Lee Bradie at Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation office at 613-392-2540 ext. 5867 to request a package of information.
